Family Get Together!

Last night we all went out to Grandpa Howard's house to visit Dad's brother, his wife and their two boys. They live in Texas and we don't see them too much at all. They also got to meet Tyler! We had a great time!

Water

Country music is usually a last resort for me. But my boss listens to it on the radio all day. On most songs, I have been very good at blocking out, but I am loving this new song by Brad Paisley, Water. I think the only reason I like it is because of the beginning they are talking about a '3 yr old splashing everywhere'...that reminds me of Tyler splashing around in his bathtub! Which is a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e!! :)

Snacks!!

I have been eating a lot healthier lately. Here are some healthy snacks I have been eating!

Fruit...natures candy, as Mom always says. : )

I LOVE strawberries. Sometimes I put Splenda on them, and sometimes I just put a little bit of fat free cool whip.

Cool Whip...yum...I put it on strawberries, pudding, jello...basically anything it goes good with.

Although loaded with carbs, I still love crackers! Sometimes I spread low-fat cream cheese on them-so good!

I used to hate broccoli, but now, I love it! Sometimes with cheese, but I usually just steam it a bit.

100 Calorie Packs are a good way to get a taste of something sweet.

Oh pudding, how I love thee! I love all kinds, mostly just chocolate though!

Not a big fan of jello, but I like it everynow and then. I can't believe how low calorie it is!!

Oranges=Love them!

Same about bananas!

And this is just a few! I like to have a large variety, that way I don't get bored with eating the same items everyday.

Randoms!

*I have been doing good on my diet. I did have a couple Oreos at Malinda's house today, but other than that, I haven't had any junk food this week : ) ...I have to splurge every now and then!! : )
I am so proud of myself for not eating junk food! I like seeing stuff like lettuce, apples, strawberries in my shopping cart, instead of ice cream, frozen dinners, and cookies!!
I also weigh 5 lbs less than what I did on my first doctors appointment (last June)!!

*The weather has warmed up!! Makes me want to go jump in the river!

*Memorial weekend is already here!! I can't believe it is almost June already! Not sure what the weekend will bring yet, if the water goes down, I will be at the river. But it doesn't look like it is going to go down by then.

*We are going to have some professional pics taken of Tyler soon! A friend of ours does a wonderful job! And I would much rather work with her than some stranger. I can't wait!

*There was a Marathon of the 'Jersey Shore' on a couple of days ago, and I had nothing to do while I was feeding Tyler, so I watched a episode.....that has to be the worst show ever!!! And they are making a season 2....what in the world?!

*We just passed the day that we created little Tyler (May 23rd). Hard to think almost a year ago I was finding out I was pregnant!!! : )

A Couple of Good Movies

Matt and I watched these two movies over the past week. I loved both of them. They both had good story lines and had excellent actors. If you get a chance you should check them out!

Weekend Recap

Friday- Mom, Tyler and I walked around town after work. That evening was uneventful, which I loved!

Saturday- I made a trip to Jefferson City to pick up a prescription. I also bought a mobile that was battery operated, (the one I bought originally you had to crank), hopefully Tyler likes it!!
That evening we went to a Graduation party for Matt's cousin. I regifted a Graduation frame from when I was a senior, I am all for regifting : )
We had a good time at the party.

Sunday- Went to church and the church dinner afterwards. The grilled chicken was sooo good! After that we went to a auction in town, I didn't see anything I needed or wanted. Matt did find a new weed eater. That afternoon, Tyler and I visited with Mom and Dad, and enjoyed the air conditioning!
We tried to turn the air on that evening at our house, but something is wrong with the compressor, so we have to have someone come look at it. Hopefully they can come today!!

Typical Day After Work!

After work I usually always go down to Mom and Dad's house to visit! There has actually only been one day since Tyler was born that Mom hasn't see him! We have such a good time visiting with each other! Malinda is usually down there to, but she must of been helping Mat mow this day. I usually leave about the time that Dad comes home, so it was nice to get to see him during the week!
