*Weekend Plans*

Friday- I have had a head cold all week. So aggravating getting a cold in July! Hopefully it will be gone soon! Tonight I don't plan on doing much at all!

Saturday- We have a wedding to go to for Matt's cousin. It is an hour and 1/2 away, so it will take up most of the day.

Sunday- Happy Anniversary to Mom and Dad on this day!!! : )
Probably going to church that morning and then no plans!!

Lovin' My Soft Skin!

When I went to Malinda's Jordan Essentails party a couple weeks ago, we all tried the salt scrub, and I loved it! I ended up ordering the bundle, (salt scrub, lotion & lotion bar, it was cheaper to buy all three instead of just one item).

I ordered the vanilla cream flavor, but they ended up sending me the oatmeal, milk & honey. But that was fine, it smells very good!

Last night I tried it out in the shower. I used it before I shaved my legs (to remove all the dead skin), and you can tell the difference today!

I can't wait to use it this winter - when my skin gets extremely dry!!

Malinda and Mat came back yesterday from their trip to Branson. They bought Tyler a big bag of clothes, and this stuffed horse from The Dixie Stampede!! He loves it!! Just look at that smile! :) Thanks, Malinda & Mat!

*I have an appointment for a spray tan on Thursday! Can't wait!

*I also need to call and make an appointment to get a massage. I have had a gift certificate for one for almost 2 years I think. I have heard so many good things about them! Can't wait to check it out!

*I ordered a few things from American Eagle last night. They were running a special free shipping on all items and an offer to get 20% off your entire order if you bought two pairs of jeans - so I made a steal! I bought some sunglasses (I never wear sunglasses, but want to get in the habit), 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of sandals, and two graphic t-shirts. All were on sale - so that makes it even better! I love ordering stuff online - especially clothes!!

*I can't believe it is the last week of July!!!

*We are all looking forward to Grandma Mozelle's visit to Missouri in a few weeks! I can't wait for her to see Tyler!! He has grown SO much!!

*Speaking of Tyler growing...we have moved from squash, to peas, and are now on sweet potatoes! He has loved them all, and he is such a good eater!

*Weekend Recap*

Friday- We had the final night of bible school. They had the program, dinner and games for all the kids. I think everyone had a great time. Tyler spent most of the night in a little pool they had set up. He loved splashing away in it!

Saturday- That morning I cleaned a little bit and played with Tyler. We went down that afternoon to Mom and Dad's house to visit. That evening we went to Matt's brother's house for homemade ice cream. We had a good time - and I had a blast playing with Caleb!

Sunday- We went to church that morning. Then we had lunch at Mom and Dad's house. For dinner, we went to the cabin and roasted hot dogs and smores. It was a lot of fun - but would of been more fun with Malinda there to swim with! But I think they are having a great time in Branson!

Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures tomorrow! :)

Awesome Website!

I heard about Diapers.com from a friend before I had Tyler. But I never looked into it. I happened to stumble across the site this past week and I LOVE it!! You can buy diapers, wipes, even cribs..and then they have a second website for stuff like paper towels, shampoo, etc. This is really handy seeing as how I don't make it to Walmart too much. It is two sites, but you only have 1 cart and 1 account! And as long as you spend $50 each time, you get free 1-2 day shipping!

I made my first order last night. And it has already shipped and will be delivered tomorrow!

Most of the items I ordered were, paper towels, diapers, wipes, foundation, tissues, etc. And all are either lower or equal price with Walmart!

I also found this Little Tikes lawn mower in the summer section of the site. And thought it would be perfect for Tyler's first Birthday. Since it is a summer item, I went ahead and bought it before they quit carrying it. And for only $26.00!!

Yard Sale Finds!

Here are the items Malinda and I found at the yard sale we went to last week!!

We also found a play vacuum, a couple of sleepers, various toys, spoons, 2 hats and a hooded towel. Malinda bought Tyler a BIG bag of clothes also (not pictured). Thanks, Aunt Malinda!!

My total came to......$7.85!!!!! And Malinda's was $5.00!!! We scored good there!!

After work yesterday, Malinda and I hit another sale. We bought a lot of stuff!As you can tell...most of our purchase was toys...but they were very, very cheap toys! - And in great condition!!

I have been looking for a small stroller to use around the house. This one is perfect! And it is my favorite: Winnie the Pooh!! :))

My total ..... $12.85!!! Malinda bought an outdoor swing for Tyler to have at her house....$.50!!!

We are becoming regular yard sale visitors!!

Weekend Recap

Friday- I didn't do too much. I did walk 2 miles around town. I sure miss the cooler weather!

Saturday- Matt and I had a great date night!! We went to eat at Longhorn. I had the parmesan crusted chicken and Matt had ribs. It was all very good - and the company was even better : )

Sunday- I didn't plan on going to church, which was a good thing since a big storm decided to roll in about the time I would of left to go! It was neat to watch the clouds roll in, I don't catch storms in that phase too often. Pretty cool!
For lunch, Malinda, the Matts, Tyler and I all went to eat at the Visitation Dinner. We had a good time!!
That afternoon, I went to Malinda's house to visit, while Matt went to Ron's house to visit.

Monday- The Internet was down at work, so I was 'computer deprived'!! lol
Rata was off, so Malinda got to watch Tyler all day! I think she had a good time, and I bet Tyler did also! She really is the best Aunt. I hope I am as good of one when she has her kids.
It was also our first day of Bible School. Malinda and I are helping with snacks. It is fun to see all the kiddos!

Tuesday- We had bible school again. Matt is watching him while I am gone. They both seem to be having a good time together. And it is nice for Matt to have some alone time with Tyler! : )

Tonight- (I finally got a chance to update my blog! :) Going to bible school again tonight.
I can't believe it is already Wednesday!!!

Weekend Plans!

This morning, Malinda and I went to a yard sale. I was able to get about 4 (packed) bags for $7.85!!! We had a good time, and I can't wait for the next yard sale!!!! I will post pics of my finds later!!
Tonight I plan on walking around town, since I feel like I haven't walked in forever!

Saturday- I plan on doing all my laundry and house cleaning that morning. Not sure what all I am doing all afternoon. That evening we have out 'date night'!! Can't wait! :)

Sunday- Going to church in the morning. And then eating lunch at the Visitation Dinner!

5 Months Old!

Okay, so I am a little bit behind!! Tyler turned 5 months old on July 9th. I waited to take the picture until the 14th because I kept forgetting to print off a sheet with his name, age and the date I took the picture. I though it was a cute idea, (I got the idea from a friend).

When I went to throw it away later on that night, I gave it to Tyler for a minute, and he was giggling, and having fun tearing it up - it was too cute!

I can't believe my baby is 5 months old!

We have had a blast the last since Tyler was born - wouldn't change it for anything!
