Weekend Plans!

Tonight I am making taco soup for dinner, and then I am looking forward to pumpkin carving with my two favorite guys! : )

Saturday- We are all going to the church Halloween party that evening! I can't wait! I am sure we will be the cutest bees there : )

Sunday- Tyler and I are handing out candy at Malinda's house!

What A Mischievous Look...

Tyler loves climbing on the couch (with one of us right there, of course) and knock my flowers down. The other night I was able to get a picture of him in the act!

Randoms

* I went ahead and absentee voted yesterday. It is so much easier to just walk down the hallway to the clerk's office than to go to the polls.

* Mom finished Tyler's Halloween costume yesterday! I love it!! It is even more cute than I thought it would be! The fabric for mine should arrive tomorrow. It shouldn't take long to make though.

* I am in the process of uploading pictures to walmart.com to order. They are cheap and ordering stuff online is so much easier to me than going to copy pictures in the store. I can't believe how many pictures I have taken since Tyler was born- but I love them all : )

* Speaking of pictures....I just now got Tyler's 6 months pictures from the lady that has taken his pictures. I know she is just busy and that is why it took so long, but I have 'hired' Malinda to take Tyler's pictures from now on. That way I won't have to wait for someone else to order them, and I can see them right once they are taken. Really to me, the pictures Malinda and I have taken with my camera look just as good as the ones taken with her expensive camera.....(So get ready Malinda! He is almost nine months old!! : )

* I am planning on walking after work. It is a little windy, but not near as windy as yesterday.

Wreath

Here is the wreath I bought the other weekend. I've always loved bittersweet. The lady that makes these is so talented. Maybe I will attempt it someday! : )

I took down something in my kitchen and hung it there. It was a good addition to my fall decor! : )

Weekend Recap

Friday- Matt watched Tyler while I went to the hayride! It was a lot of fun! It was a nice ride and it was nice to see people 'out of their office'. It is such a nice group of people. I can't wait till our next 'courthouse gang' get together! : )

Saturday- We all went to the auction. I bought a little red wagon, and a toy chest that Matt's Grandpa built for Tyler. Matt bought some other tools, etc. It was a great day! Tyler was in the best of moods all day and took a nap on Mom under a shade tree, while Malinda and I visited with her.

That evening were going to eat at the Eagles, but once we got there they had a sign on the door saying it was closed for a private party. So we went on over to Rolla to Sirloin Stockade. It was a nice evening out!

Sunday- I went into town that afternoon to hang out with Mom and Dad. It was a little boring without Malinda there, she was in Columbia. But we still had fun!

That evening we had a Birthday Party for Ron at his house. We got there early to visit with him, but he was off helping a guy with his truck that broke down, so that was a bummer.

Liz made taco soup and hot dogs. It was all really good!

Tyler grabbed a corn muffin when I went through the line. He didn't really eat much of it. Mostly just tore it up. It was hilarious!

Weekend Plans!

Tonight- I have my FIRST hayride!!! It is with the 'courthouse gang'. I think it will be fun! I can't believe I have never been on a hayride before..I guess I didn't get out too much as a teenager. I will have to say it will be weird hanging out with the Sheriff! Lol

Saturday- Matt's Grandparent's auction. Not sure how long it will last, but for at least Matt, it will probably take up the whole day.

Sunday- Church and then relaxing the rest of the day!

Some Random Things!

* I am excited for the season finale of Jersey Shore tonight!! I didn't like the show at all the first season, but I got into watching it this season and I really like it! It is basically just mindless- but isn't most TV shows?!

* I usually don't drink milk, but this week I have been drinking a large glass every night! Sure makes a person feel better!

* We are going to send out the tax bills the first week of November. Can't believe it is already that time of year! Which means Christmas is right around the corner!! I pretty much have all my shopping done, except for some of Tyler's. It is so much more fun to buy for kids (especially your own) than adults that have everything they need already. This Christmas is going to be so much fun!

* Mom is off work tomorrow so I get to have a lunch date! I am looking forward to it!

* I have been loving desserts lately. We usually never eat sweets after a meal, but lately I have been making sweets to eat after dinner. I made chocolate chip cookies earlier this week and then cinnamon rolls last night to eat after our chili...they 'go together' to me, since the school always had them together for lunch. I need to get out of this habit! : )

* I changed Tyler's Halloween costume. Basically because he outgrown his dog one I bought him. So I found a bee costume to make online. I think it will be cute! And I was planning on being a bee keeper that I found on Martha Stewart's website. It was really cool, and has bees glued & wired all over it. But I can't find the bees anywhere. So I am going to be a bee too! I can't wait to dress up!! I haven't dressed up for Halloween in forever!
And (just for some pictures) Matt is going to be a bee keeper! I think we all three are going to look cute! : )

8 Months Old!

Tyler turned 8 months old on two Saturdays ago (the 9th). I am finally getting around to posting the pictures!

He is getting so big! Crawling (well, a kind of scoot, we have read that some babies never crawl, we are thinking that is how it is going to be with him), pulling up and standing up by himself, babbling a lot, new impressions, wanting certain people more (mostly just me :), eating a variety of foods and some table foods, still working on the sippy cup, still loves bath time, and stroller rides, getting to were he doesn't like being held by strangers, sleeping all night still, loves playing with his saucer, jumper and outdoor swing, and I could go on...and on...and on....

All around his is a happy, healthy baby boy. We love him so SO much!

It is crazy that he is 8 months old already! It is fun to see him change everyday- but sad that he is growing so fast! : )

I can't believe we will be making an appointment to get his 9 month pictures taken soon!!!

Late Weekend Recap

Friday- I walked after work. That evening, Matt and I watched Tyler Perry's 'Why Did I Get Married 2'...I love all his movies, and now this one became one of my favorites! It was a nice relaxing evening at home with Matt and Tyler!

Saturday- Matt worked on auction stuff for his Grandparent's auction this Saturday. He was gone pretty much all day, so I spent most of the morning/some of the afternoon with Mom and Malinda. That morning we went to a yard sale and went to a local store. The lady has the coolest items. I bought a bittersweet wreath, I will post a picture soon.

Dad watched Tyler while us girls went. I think he had a good time with him, since he never really gets Tyler all to himself.

When we got back we could barley quit laughing because Dad and Tyler were getting the mail and Dad had this stocking cap on his. It just looked funny- but totally adorable!

That evening, Matt, Tyler and I went to Hobby Lobby to get some fabric for Tyler's Halloween costume...I forgot to mention earlier that the plans have changed for his costume...will post soon!

Sunday- That morning I went to church and the church dinner. I brought a strawberry angel food dessert. It is kind of a summer dish, so that will probably be the last time I make it for a while.
That afternoon, I walked around town with Malinda and then came home and spent the evening at home with Tyler and Matt. We made BBQ chicken and hash brown casserole for dinner.

New High Chair

Here is the new portable high chair we got for Tyler! It works great! And is so convenient!!
