Tyler & I on Mother's Day! :)
We had a dinner guest, Grandma's good friend from way back, Gary. He is such a nice guy, and I always enjoyed seeing him in the store when I worked there. They had a nice chat and had fun catching up!Tyler knows how to shoot water guns now.. not sure if this is a good thing or not! LOL
Too bad he can't really mow the yard yet! haha!
He had to line up all his 'vehicles' in order by size! LOL
It was too funny!
The Oreo dessert I made! This is the second time I've made it. It was so good!! Next time I'm going to decrease the butter though!!
Auntie M helping Tyler push his truck to the house!
Tyler enjoying some fish!
Tyler throwing the ball and making Grandpa get it! LOL
Notice the swing set in the back? Or well, part of it anyways! LOL.. Matt moved part of it down to where we're moving it to, and the other part is now standing up! He did it all by himself!! What a man! :)
Now he just needs help moving the other heavy part.. no telling when that will get done... lol
He found some ribbon that came off one of the gifts and picked it up! He's such a big helper!
Hanging out in his truck! For Mother's Day, I made Grandma a Missouri map canvas. I will post more on it later, along with the link. She loved it!!
You can't tell from the picture, but the red dot in the middle is a heart. And on the side it has the town name. I was so happy that she liked it so much!
The hand print card is from Tyler too.
Enjoying a Yoohoo!
I love homemade cards!
I made stepping stones for mom, Grandma, and myself (is there anything wrong with making your own gifts?! LOL)
I think they turned out great!! We just used a bag of concrete mix and trays from Hobby Lobby!
I added some glass jewels from HL also.
Picture of the gift table - kind of blurry ! The fryers!
Tyler loves to 'help'!
Relaxing!
Malinda gave mom & I a Hibiscus bush and I gave mom the rose bush!
"hmm... which one should I drive..."
Malinda got her a scentsy plug in and a scentsy bar!
Matt brought home a special beer from Michigan- I don't have a clue what it tastes like. I don't think, and haven't drank anything since Malinda's bachloerette party (which was in April 2009) ...but everyone bragged it up said it was great!
Here is Grandma telling us about the name!
It is the Round Barn Winery.. Here is their Facebook page & their website.
Love this lady.
It was a fun night! Wish we could do it every Saturday night :)
Here is what my menu was:
Fried fish
fried potato chips
broccoli cauliflower salad
baked beans w/ smoked sausage cut up
rolls- store bought
fresh cut strawberries
& the Oreo stuff for dessert! I'm hungry just thinking about it!! LOL
Next up... Monday night @ Mom & Dad's house....
