Weekend Recap!

Friday- woke up early and hit some more yard sales- I scored so good!! Pictures to come later!

That evening, Dad brought home McDonald's for dinner! We went home around 7:00 and we played outside before bedtime!

Saturday- Took Tyler to mom and dad's in the morning so I could mow and weed eat. The mowing went good, the weed eating, not so much. I couldn't get the darn thing started. It was probably a good thing, since it was getting hotter and hotter. I also couldn't get the air to work. Can you tell I was having a bad morning :) ?! Dad was able to fix it later in the day, but since it was already mid afternoon, it was freaking hot inside. Tyler and I took an afternoon drive so he could take his nap in the air. It was actually fun!

That evening we headed to Herb's for Caleb's Birthday party. Caleb LOVED his gift! I didn't think he'd like it that much, so I was happy! I'll post pictures later!

Sunday- I don't set my alarm on the weekends, I just let Tyler wake me up. And he slept until 9:45! I guess the late night got to him! Needless to say, we didn't have enough time to get ready for church. For lunch we (mom, Tyler and I) went to the Catholic dinner. I didn't make my pies- not a big surprise, I'm sure! HA! .. but it was so hot on Saturday, and we got up too late on Sunday, so I thought I had a good excuse! :)

That afternoon we sorted through all the yard sale finds. That took forever! And we played all afternoon. Love afternoons like that! I didn't even try to give him a nap. Since he got up so late, I was afraid he wouldn't sleep that night. And he stayed in a good mood all day, so I was glad I skipped the nap!

For dinner, Tyler and I went into town to have grilled hamburgers at mom and dad's house! It was a fun evening!!

This week:

Today- I just got finished mailing out second notices. That is why I've been a little MIA lately :)
For dinner, we're having sloppy joes at mom's house. Dad is out of town all week.

Tuesday- off work! Thanks Harry S. Truman! I am going to play all morning with Tyler and then take him to the sitter that afternoon- I have a doctor appointment- can you believe I was able to schedule it on a day off?! That never happens to me! That evening Matt might be coming home- fingers crossed! This is going on 4 weeks of him being gone!

Wednesday & Thursday- no plans.

Friday- Rata is off, so Mom is spending the day with Tyler! Which means I get to see him on lunch- YAY :)

Saturday- Grandma arrives that evening from Florida! Can.not.wait!
