Friday- Tyler and I visited with mom and dad after work. Mom made a peanut butter pie and we got to sample some! It was so yummy & filling that we didn't even need dinner! The rest of the evening we relaxed at home!
Saturday- Malinda, Tyler and I headed to KidsFest. It was so much fun!And we got there early enough that there wasn't many people there! Tyler and Malinda even made it on the news that night! haha!
We ate lunch at Ryan's, went to Walmart and stopped by Hastings before heading home. It was a fun day!
That afternoon we didn't do too much at all. I worked on a few projects- more to come on those soon!
For dinner we had frozen pizza- I was still so full from lunch and didn't want to make a big dinner.
Afterwards, Tyler and I went to town to walk. We did three miles and then stopped by the cemetery on the way home. We both walked (without the stroller) through the whole cemetery! He had a blast! I always try to go on Memorial Day, but it was too hot. All the flowers looked great still!
Sunday- Matt took Tyler to church with him, which meant I got about an hour to myself. It was so nice! I made french toast, took a shower and relaxed! It's amazing how an hour alone can recharge a person! When they got back it was time for me to go to church.
After lunch, Tyler napped and I mowed the grass. After Tyler's nap, we went to mom and dad's to visit. It was kind of off and on rain, and we were afraid it would start raining constant, so we didn't go the river- I was bummed!! But we probably will make it out this weekend!
For dinner Matt grilled brats, I made baked potatoes, corn on the cob, and some noodles (Lipton Sides- love those!) and grilled some texas toast on the grill! It was all so good and we were stuffed afterwards!
After dinner I clipped some branches by the highway and we played outside.
This week:
Today- Tuesday- no plans. Matt will probably end up working late and then has to check cows when he gets home, so I'm not planning on cooking all week- bummer! I do want to get some walks in though!
Wednesday- Rata is off at noon, Mom is going to get Tyler and watch him. Which means I get to see Tyler at lunch!
Thursday- Friday- no plans.
I hope everyone had a great weekend! I have some fun projects that I want to post about- but for some reason it won't let me upload pictures. I am going to try again later. I also have TONS of pictures from the river, and from KidsFest. Hopefully it will let me upload later!!
