Weekend Recap

Friday- Went to my parents house after work to visit. Stayed even longer than usual, I guess we just got caught up in visiting : )
The rest of the evening was quiet!

Saturday- Hung around the house all day. Did a few chores and projects. Played some games with Tyler and of course we played with some trucks!

That evening we (Mom, Tyler & I) had dinner at the Eagles. We had a good time and just sat there for a while after we ate. It was nice to relax and take our time. And Tyler was so good the whole night!

I had to take a picture of this.. I ordered a baked potato and when I cut into it a HUGE piece of dirt came off! The picture doesn't even show all of it! Mom and I couldn't quit laughing! 

Shortly after we got home, Tyler went to bed. Matt and I stayed up and watched The Shining- it was on TV.  Can you believe that I've never seen that movie?! It was SO good! I want to read the book now! I have to say that horror movies nowadays don't have anything on the older ones!

Sunday- we went to church and then to the store to do our weekly shopping. I always take longer when Tyler shops with me. Not because he is being a pain, but because he loves to browse. And he's so good in the store, so we always take our time. 

We had lunch from the fireman's BBQ. It had been a while since I had BBQ I think! 

That afternoon we went to Mom and Dad's house to visit and look at a few things, post on that to come later! 

That evening we went to a visitation for one of Matt's uncle's brothers. He was 46 and died of cancer. We had to stand in a long line, but Tyler did great! The couple in front of us even commented on how good he was! Stan (Matt's Uncle), is such a nice guy, and he's so upbeat about everything, very nice guy. His brother left behind one son too, I think he's around 13. That sure would be hard... 

I hope that everyone had a great weekend! The weather is awesome today around here! Wish I was outside :)
